Contemporary Dance Student at Boston Conservatory at Berklee

ABOUT ME
Halley was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and will graduate from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee this spring with a BFA in Contemporary Dance. Her dance training began at California Academy of Performing Arts, where she studied ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, and contemporary dance. Throughout high school she auditioned for and studied in auxiliary intensives at City Ballet School, American Ballet Theater, and Joffrey Ballet Academy. Under Lynn Brilhante's tutelage, she also studied and assisted in contemporary jazz classes at the Alonzo King Lines Dance Center. For three consecutive years, Halley accompanied Lynn in Loma Mar at Living Jazz’s immersion camp for classes and performances. At the Conservatory, she has collaborated in residencies and performed in works by Doug Varone, Dwight Rhoden, Andrew Skeels, Chung Fu Chang, Alyssa Cardone, Adriana Suarez, and Gino DiMarco. She's also studied at the b12 contemporary dance festival in Berlin with Laja Field and Joy Alpuerto Ritter, and performed two excerpts of Akram Khan's repertory at Orsolina28 in Moncalvo, Italy. In addition to being a full time student, she has been a shop associate at Equinox gym locations in California and Boston for over three years!
